At our Dartmouth graduation in '90 my mom was 54. Now she's 90.

It's '90 classmate Steve Kong, and I moderate small, private groups for classmates navigating the journey of having aging parents.

Six classmates per group, 1 hour, monthly on Zoom, backed up by a private Telegram chat for your group. You also receive a weekly Friday email offering insights and resources.

Testimonials from other '90s

My dad is actually in fairly good health, but I live 1,500 miles away and worry about him as I see small changes develop. It has been amazing to connect with classmates as we find ourselves coming full circle — those parents who dropped us in Hanover more than 40 years ago are the ones now needing our help. My '90 group is a safe space for me to share my feelings and learn from others in this journey.

— Laurilyn Dowling

Even when things seem stable with my parents, I'm worried about what's next. My monthly HAYM group has this in common, although each circumstance is different. I find it meaningful both to be supported by this group of friends and to be supportive of each of them.

— Elizabeth Portland

While my 90-year old parents are still in relatively good health and living independently, I know that one medical emergency could change everything in an instant. My HAYM group is helping me prepare, emotionally and practically, for the day they will inevitably need more care. And my group reminds me I am not alone with my concerns.

— Elizabeth Courtney
